SUBJECT: Conduct and Stability
Kindred,
I’m not going to waste time dressing this up.
There’s been movement in the city. You’ve all felt it, whether you want to admit it or not. Things are shifting, and that means mistakes are starting to happen.
Mistakes get noticed.
And when they get noticed, they become my problem.
So let’s be clear about expectations moving forward.
You keep your business contained. You keep your disputes quiet. You do not escalate situations you can’t finish. If something is already in motion, you handle it cleanly or you bring it to someone who can.
I’m not interested in excuses after the fact.
I’m interested in keeping this city stable.
That means no unnecessary risks, no public spectacles, and no testing boundaries just to see where they are. If you don’t know where the line is, assume it’s closer than you think.
Some of you are already being watched more closely than others. You know who you are.
Adjust accordingly.
If something is about to go wrong, you come forward early. That’s the only time you’ll get the benefit of the doubt.
After that, I don’t give warnings.
I solve problems.
Stay quiet. Stay smart. Stay in line.
