What an unexpectedly productive evening for the Court.

A formal decree from the Throne. A clarifying message from the Sheriff. Such efficiency is… refreshing. If somewhat uncharacteristic.

We imagine many of you are still processing the implications. We certainly are.

It is not often that a member of the Hecata is afforded this degree of visibility, let alone recognition, within a Camarilla domain of this standing. They are, traditionally, distant. Self-contained. Preferentially uninvolved in the delicate architecture of our politics.

They do not integrate.
They do not represent.

And, to our knowledge, they do not typically embed themselves within coteries, particularly those operating under direct Court scrutiny.

And yet, here we are.

How… progressive.

We are sure this development is entirely intentional and will proceed without complication. We look forward to observing how such an arrangement functions in practice, and more importantly, how it is perceived.

Speaking of perception.

It would be negligent of us not to address a moment from Elysium that has, quite understandably, become the subject of considerable discussion.

A member of the aforementioned coterie saw fit to bring a giant stuffed elephant into Elysium.
Yes. Into Elysium.

We will not speculate as to the intention behind this decision. We find that intent rarely improves the outcome in situations such as these.

Elysium is, as many of you are aware, a space of decorum. A reflection of the Domain’s refinement. A place where even the most… expressive among us are expected to demonstrate restraint.

This was not restraint.
This was not subtle.

This was seen.
And it will be remembered.

If this is to be the standard moving forward, then we will, of course, adjust our expectations accordingly. Though we suspect some of you may find those adjusted expectations… less forgiving.

The Prince has spoken. The Sheriff has clarified. The structure of the Domain is, it seems, being reinforced in ways both overt and… interpretive.

We advise each of you to consider your position carefully.

Authority may dictate the rules of the game.
But reputation decides who survives it.
